Square-Enix has announced the production of Kingdom Hearts 2. That's right all you people who have been waiting for so long for some sort of explaination to the Deep Dive movie wiat no more, well you still have to wait until sometime in 2004.
The sequal to the ground breaking title boasts to have a higher number of Square characters in this installment. Along with some new cast and some familiar faces, Square is currently trying to reassamble the voice cast of the previous one. The gameplay of KH2 will be extremely similar to the original KH, which means most people won't get lost when they pick up the controler. KH2 will have the same staff working on this title as the last one.
Along with the announcement of a sequal, there's been an announcement of a KH game on the Gameboy Advance. Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories will be worked on with a lesser know company, called Jupitor, working with Square Enix to bring Kingdom Hearts into the world of portalbe gaming. Living up to the Square nix reputation, the intro sequence will be voiced and have a new theme. Although not much about the itself is known, knowing Square Enix it should be something worth buying the GBA for, if you don't already have one.
Both Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories will debuting in 2004 whit KH Chain of Memories hitting the shelves first.
