Jill Vanentine- One of the main characters of the game. She just recentally moved to Racoon to escape her old life. Her father was a crook and currently is in jail. Jill joined the S.T.A.R.S. to make something of herself.
Chris Redfield- Chris has been in the S.T.A.R.S. for a while. He joined to do good for everyone.
Barry Burton- A good friend of Jill. Barry is a big, and I mean BIG, gun freak. So much in fact that he even keeps a replica of his favorie gun, a Colt Magun revolver, on his desk. He's a big family man, he would do anything for them, and keeps a gun safe in his basement.
Albert Weasker- The captin of the Alpha team. He's up too something, but no one can quite tell what. Near the end of 1 he manipulates Barry into tricking Jill by holding his family hostage.
Rebecca Chambers- Thsoul surviver of the Bravo team after the Spencer estate. Only 19 and on her first mission Chris found the young medic cowering in a closet armed with nothing but a can of bug-spary.
